Upon his shirt, the color of the sky, he wore the Thunders, the Sun & the Moon, and he bore the Spirit of his people in their hair locks.
A Shirt Wearer of the Lakota, this warrior is one of four men chosen to protect their band. Known to be the most honorable, generous, brave and upstanding of all men, the shirt was their badge of office. On his head is a red-backed kestrel – brought to him in a vision and offering powerful protection. Behind his ear hangs a sacred medicine stone which makes him bullet proof.
This shirt was made in the last century for Crazy Horse in the Emmy award winning film, “Son of the Morning Star.”
